Deleting Files
Remove outdated or irrelevant files from your knowledge base with a few quick clicks. This guide shows you how to delete individual files or multiple files at once from the Assets tab on your All Knowledge panel in Storytell.

Overview
Keeping your knowledge base clean and up-to-date is essential for getting relevant and accurate results. You can easily delete files through the Assets tab — perfect for clearing out old drafts or removing sensitive documents.
You can delete:
A single file directly from the Assets list
Multiple files at once using bulk delete
How to Delete a Single File
Open the side panel.
Select All Knowledge from the left navigation panel.
Click on Assets to open the Assets tab.
Locate or search for the file you want to delete.
Click the trash icon (🗑) on the far right of the file row.
Confirm the deletion when prompted.
How to Bulk Delete Files
Open the side panel.
Select All Knowledge from the left navigation panel.
Click on Assets to open the Assets tab.
Select the files you want to delete by ticking the checkboxes beside each file.
Once at least one file is selected, a Bulk Delete button will appear at the top right.
Click the Bulk Delete button and confirm the deletion.
Deleted files are permanently removed and can’t be recovered, so make sure you’re certain before confirming.
