Workspace & Navigation

The side panel is your quick-launch hub in Storytell. You can jump into a chat, organize your files, or navigate projects, all from one place. Here’s what each section does and what to expect as we keep leveling it up.

Keyboard shortcuts in Storytell help you navigate, switch Projects, and move between prompts faster. By default, they are enabled and appear when you hover over relevant buttons for quick reference. You can turn them off in Settings if you prefer a mouse-driven workflow.

Organizing Your Knowledge

Collections

A Collection is a way to create a "fence" around subsets of your data, so you can work with just that data. Instead of asking Storytell to answer questions based on All Knowledge every time, you can define a smaller, more relevant subset of your data and save it as a named Collection. This gives you control over what the AI considers as inputs to its answers, helps reduce noise, and allows you to reuse the same scope across different chats and workflows.

Noise.bot makes it easy to use Storytell directly from your inbox. Instead of copying and pasting text or files, you can forward emails including large attachments to Noise.bot and get results back by email.

Forwarding emails to Noise.bot is the fastest way to bring information into Storytell. You can send a single email or one with large attachments, and Noise.bot will reply with an analysis or answer to your question.
