Labels are customizable tags that help you organize, filter, and manage your assets in Storytell. Whether you're working with documents, data files, or other content, labels provide a powerful way to categorize and quickly locate specific assets based on your workflow needs.

How it works

The Labels system integrates directly into your Knowledge dashboard. It allows you to create custom labels with unique colors and icons and apply them to individual assets or multiple assets simultaneously. Labels appear in the main asset table and can be used for filtering and search operations.

Key features

Individual asset labeling

Apply one or multiple labels to specific assets directly from the Knowledge dashboard. Labels appear immediately in the asset table, and you can manage label visibility as needed.

Use cases:

  • Adding context to newly uploaded files

  • Updating categorization as projects evolve

  • Creating cross-project connections between related assets

Bulk label assets

Select multiple assets and apply or modify labels across your entire selection simultaneously.

Use cases:

  • Organizing newly imported asset batches

  • Updating project assignments across multiple files

Filter by label

Use the integrated label filtering system to quickly locate assets by specific categories, or search for labels directly to find exactly what you need.

Use cases:

  • Finding all assets related to a specific project or client

  • Locating files that need review or action

  • Filtering by content type or priority level
