Use your voice to input text directly into Storytell by speaking through your microphone.

How to use the speech-to-text feature
Click the Microphone Icon
In the prompt input bar, click the microphone icon on the right-hand side. This activates the Speech-to-Text feature.

Allow microphone access
Your browser will prompt you to grant Storytell permission to access your microphone. Ensure you allow this access to proceed.
Start Speaking
Once the mic icon begins flashing red, you’re ready to speak. Anything you say will be converted to text and displayed in the input bar.
Tips and best practices
Use a quiet environment for better transcription accuracy
Pause briefly between thoughts to improve recognition
If the mic isn’t responding, check browser permissions in your settings
