Revising an image

  1. Locate the revise image button

    • For certain images, depending on the image LLM used, a “Revise Image” button appears alongside the generated image.

  2. Use the revise Image function

    • Clicking “Revise Image” copies the original prompt into the prompt bar.

    • You can then edit this prompt to refine the image. For example:

      • “Make this photo realistic”

      • “Add a sunset in the background”

      • “Include a mountain in the distance”

  3. Generate the revised image

    • After modifying the prompt, submit it to regenerate the image.

    • Note: The regenerated image may differ slightly from the original because the image generation tool interprets prompts variably.

  4. Additional options

    • You can also copy or share the original prompt for reference or external use.

Regenerating images with a different aspect ratio

  1. Select a new aspect ratio

    • After an image is generated, choose a new aspect ratio.

  2. Regenerate the image

    • Storytell rewrites the original prompt to include the aspect ratio command and submits it to generate the image in the new dimensions.

    • Note: The regenerated image may differ slightly from the original due to prompt interpretation along with the aspect ratio instruction.

Tips for effective image revision

  • Be specific when editing prompts to guide the image generation tool effectively.

  • Minor differences between regenerations are normal, particularly when changing aspect ratio or revising prompts.

  • You can include instructions in your revised prompt to retain elements of the original image (for example, “Keep the original background but make the lighting sunset-like”).
