Where to Start
You’ll find the prompt bar at the front and center — click in and start typing.

You can ask Storytell things like:
“What’s the difference between brand awareness and brand equity?”
“Summarize this document in 3 bullet points.”
“Give me five headline ideas based on the uploaded press release.”
“Help me brainstorm video concepts for a Q3 campaign.”
If you’ve uploaded files, Storytell will automatically use them as context, they’ll show up at the top of the chat bar as part of the active scope.
Tips for Stronger Prompts
Want sharper responses? Here are a few ways to level up your prompt-writing:
Be clear and specific
Instead of saying “summarize this,” say “summarize this in 3 bullet points for someone who’s never read it before.” The more direction you give, the better the result.Include your goal or context
Let Storytell know what you're trying to do — whether it’s prepping a deck, writing a campaign brief, or just exploring a topic. It helps the AI tailor its response.Use meaningful references
If you're working with files, refer to actual names or sections (e.g. “Executive Summary,” “Key Results”) rather than vague cues like “first page” or “that table in the middle.”

What Happens Next
Once you hit enter, Storytell generates a response based on your prompt and any active assets, Labels or Concepts. You can ask follow-ups, tweak your prompt, or build on the response, just like a natural conversation.
