How to view Concept details

Opening Concept details

You can access Concept details from multiple places in Storytell:

• From Chat: When Storytell surfaces Concepts alongside an answer, click any Concept name to open its detail view.

• From the Graph: In the knowledge graph, click on a Concept node to open its details.

• From Search: If your search result lists Concepts, select one to drill deeper.

What you’ll see in the detailed view

The Concept detail view gives you a complete picture of that Concept and its context across your knowledge.

• Concept Name and Summary
  At the top, you will see the Concept’s title and an automatically generated summary describing its role or importance.

• Related Concepts
  A section showing other Concepts connected to the one you are viewing, helping you understand its broader context and relationships.

• Source Materials
  The original files that contributed to the Concept, with direct links so you can trace back to where the information came from.

• Timestamps and Updates
  Each Concept includes metadata on when it was created and last updated, so you know how fresh the information is.

Navigating Concept details

• Switch Between Views
  From the detail view, you can move between the high-level summary and the underlying snippets that power the Concept.

• Explore Related Concepts
  Click on a related Concept to open its detail view without leaving your flow.

• Close and Return
  At any time, close the detail view to return to chat, search results, or the graph.

Why Use Concept Details?

The detail view turns Storytell into an interactive research map. Instead of just reading an answer, you can:

• Dive deeper into specific topics

• Trace information back to its original source

• Follow conceptual links to discover connections you might not have noticed

This makes it easy to move from surface-level answers to a comprehensive understanding of your data.
