Advanced: Create Labels via email

You can create Labels in Storytell by using a special email format. This helps organize your emails and files automatically as they come into Noise.bot.

How it works

You can assign a label on the fly by sending an email to signal+[label-name]@noise.bot. Labels are helpful for grouping emails and attachments into categories or projects.

Steps

  1. Forward, CC, or BCC your email as usual.

  2. In the recipient field, use signal+[label-name]@noise.bot.

  3. Send the email.

Noise.bot will process the message and automatically apply the Label.

Example uses

  • Forward a budget report to [email protected] and later ask: “Summarize expenses for Q2.”

  • Send a creative brief to [email protected] and later ask: “What are the campaign goals?”
